I really don’t.

I don’t want the bantering, the feeling of ups and downs, the constant unsubtle flirtation, the “pretending i give a shit about what you’re talking about when really i just want to screw you”, the emptiness that will eventually settle when you realise that so much was just smoke and mirrors, that we both aren’t as cool as we made ourselves out to be, that in order to continue this we have to continue putting up a tiring, stale facade until the both of us break apart.

I want it to be how things have always been between us. sometimes it takes a while, but we spit everything out. i’m insecure. i cry at night sometimes. i’m scared, scared about the future, scared about losing you, scared about losing myself. i wonder about the world - sometimes it’s stupid things, sometimes it’s uncool things, sometimes it’s uncomfortable things. you hate yourself. you don’t think you’re good enough for me. i don’t think i’m good enough to save you. i think i was never as good for you as eunice was. i fear you will never love me. you fear you will never love me back. we both cry in each other’s arms, showing each other how truly weak and pathetic we are as human beings. somehow in turn we show each other how beautiful everything is. how there’s redemption within us.

i don’t want smokes and mirrors. everything else seems like that except you, and you feel like the only truth in my life that i never want to lose.

don’t go. don’t let me fall into this never ending cycle of games. i don’t want to feel empty for the rest of my life.

to the few dear friends that may or may not stumble upon this - it’s okay, i’m okay, thank you for your love, but i guess this is something i will have to settle this between the two of us.

i guess i just want something pure. but maybe there isn’t anything like that in this world.

Holy fuck! I wrote a paper about these kinds of pools several years ago for a class when they were just prototypes. These pools have a natural filtration system that run based on the plants that are in the pool that give the water nutrients that allow it to not only be crystal clear, but you are also able to drink the water because it becomes so clean. And the best part is that once the initial filtration system is installed and calibrated, it maintains itself and eliminates the need for chlorine or constant maintenance like salt water pools.
